The installation process is easy, straightforward and only takes a few minutes. Whether you’re dealing with Vertical blinds, Venetian blinds, Timber and PVC blinds, or Roller Blackout and Sunscreen blinds, we’ve got you covered. Read on to learn how to install each type of blind with ease and precision.

Firstly, you’ll need a few tools. You’ll need:

  • Power drill and bit
  • Screwdriver
  • Pencil
  • Stepladder
  • Blinds 4U supply 8 x 5/8 wood screws, good for any solid wood fixing.

1. Bracket:

Different styles of blinds come with different brackets. These are installed first, screwed directly into the window frame, inside or outside the frame depending on your preference and style.

2. Blinds

Clip the blinds into the brackets you just installed. Depending on the type of blinds, this may involve securing them by clicking and locking the blinds into place. Make sure the blinds are level by using a spirit level.

3. Close Brackets:

Now your blinds are up and installed, close your brackets when you are happy with the positioning to secure them in place.

4. Check Functionality

Vertical blinds will require each slat of fabric to be hung to finish your installation. Once your blinds installation is complete, operate them several times to ensure everything is running smoothly.

These instructions should help you install your blinds with confidence. If you have any questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us. For a comprehensive guide to a seamless installation with every style of blinds we supply, download our detailed how to install guide

Roller blinds must have their chain stoppers attached so the blind cannot roll down further than the length ordered – if no chain stoppers are attached, this will void any warranty as blinds rolled past this point can come away from the tubing.
Your roller blind may need to be tracked on site when installing, this makes sure the blind rolls up and down straight and doesn’t track to the sides causing wear and tear: How to Correct the Tracking of a Roller Blind (youtube.com)
