Roller blinds – 5-10 working days
Timber and PVC – 5-7 working days

Vertical Blinds – 10-15 working days 
25mm Aluminum VE – 10-15 working days

Out of stock fabrics

We do hold supply of Uniview and Dawn fabrics, but some times our supplier (uniline) can run out of these fabrics. Once your order is placed, we make sure there is enough fabric for your job. If there is not, we then order some in. If our supplier has run out of that fabric or there is a delay – we will notify you straight away. This is the only thing that would effect the manufacturing of your blinds. 

 

Couriers

We use www.pbt.co.nz to courier our blinds. Some Auckland addresses will get their blinds dropped off by Total Look Blinds who manufacture the blinds for blinds4u.co.nz
Are you in a hurry for you blinds? We can courier them to a PBT depot near you – If you put the PBT courier depot as your delivery address and put your contact details down, they will call you once its at the depot to collect. This gets around the added lead time of having to wait for them to get processed at the depot and wait for a courier to come to you. See their depots here: Branch Locations (pbt.nz)

All samples are free freight and are usually sent the day after ordering – Sending on week days only. 

Shipping:

 FREE SHIPPING WHEN YOUR CART EXCEEDES $1,000.

  • North Island Urban: FREE
  • North Island Rural: $30
  • South Island Urban: $40
  • South Island Rural: $62.50

Your order will be delivered by courier to your requested destination. You need to ensure that the destination is suitable for courier access and has sufficient space to take the delivery otherwise the courier will need to hold your delivery at the courier depot. Your signature will not be required unless you request it. Blinds will be individually wrapped in a plastic sleeve and delivered in a ridged cardboard shipping tube. Please consider the environment when disposing of the delivery packaging. You will be notified when your order is started at the factory and then when your order is dispatched.

Please note, on blinds larger than 2m wide, they are likely to be delivered by a transit truck. 

Returns:

As the blinds were custom made just 4U we cannot accept returns. Please follow the instruction on measuring and installation so your blinds meet your expectations. For warranty work Blinds4U will arrange pickup and return.

Courier damages:

Please inspect your blinds thoroughly once you have received them. Due to the nature of the blinds being wide and skinny, these are more prone to courier damages. 
We require proof of damage within 7 days and we can claim these back with PBT and get new ones made. If you notify us of damages AFTER the 7 days and it looks like courier damage, we cannot replace. 

Signs of damage and examples: 
1) Bent tubing – Your blinds wont sit well in the window
2) End caps coming off – Your blinds may have slid out of the tube and will be damaged on the end
3) Forklift damage holes along the tube – Often it looks like PBT use a forklift to move items around and we have had a few with holes in the tubes that cause damage.
